                 Gold bars, also referred to as ingots, are created in a variety of sizes and hallmarks.

                 The larger the bar, the lower, the buyers premium. 12.5 kilo bars are often traded on
                 major exchanges like the Comex in New York City. Despite having a lower buyers
                 premium, 1 kilo and 12.5 kilo bars are not sold to investors very often because of
                 the difficulty selling them in the secondary market due to their size and value. The
                 most popular bars are 1oz and 10oz sizes.

                 Gold bars feature elaborate designs, hallmarks and symbols. Some are quite plain. All,
                 however, list the amount of gold, purity and the issuing company.

                 Many companies manufacturer and hallmark gold bars. The more popular hallmarks are
                 Credit Suisse, Heraeus, Johnson Matthey, Metalor and PAMP. Gold bars are easy to trade
